ZapGo Ltd (Zap&Go) is a high tech  business founded in Oxford in 2013. It developed a solution to the slow  charging of devices which is a problem encountered by the current generation  of rechargeable appliances, devices, and vehicles. In contrast to  Lithium-ion, Zap&Go uses Carbon-Ion (C-Ion) technology, which is based on  carbon nano-materials, including the ‘wonder-material’ graphene. The result  is ultra-fast charging which is completed in five minutes or less.

· Zap&Go employs 20 people at  the Harwell campus, and two commercial staff in Charlotte, North Carolina.  CEO, Mr Stephen Voller is an experienced business leader and a recognised  authority on energy storage technologies, whilst COO, Mr David McTurk is an  expert in electronics manufacturing. Its team also includes eight employees  with PhDs in Materials Science.
