Agriculture: wheat, corn, potatoes, vegetables, fruits, sugar beets, grapes, meat, dairy products. 

Industry: textiles and clothing, food processing, lumber, oil, cement, chemicals, mining, basic metals, hydropower. 

Natural resources: petroleum, natural gas, coal, chromium, copper, timber, nickel, hydropower. 

Export Commodities: textiles and footwear, asphalt, metals and metallic ores, crude oil, vegetables, fruits, tobacco, timber. 

Import Commodities: machinery and equipment, food stuffs, textiles, chemicals etc. 

Although Albania is a small country, 28.750 km2 (11.000 square miles), it is a varied one. It has a long coastline, a fertile lowland strip where most people live. 

Albania has much to offer to tourists as well as to the business people: spectacular views, unspoiled coastlines (especially on the Ionian coast) described by foreign visitors as “the last wild beaches of Mediterranean”, rugged mountains in the north and ancient cities with historic monuments, museums as well as archaeological sites and castles. For the business people is a small country with great possibilities.
